Chamber Board Members/Executive Committee are responsible for ensuring that the Calumet City Chamber is mission and vision driven (as described above), financially responsible, and compliant with laws governing its non-profit status.
Board Member Responsibilities
President
Facilitates, directs, and manages the process of board meetings in accordance with a meeting agenda
Vice President
Assists President with his duties relative to board meetings, and acts as President pro-temp in the President’s absence
Treasurer
Take notes, manages, and presents budget considerations for various Chamber activities and programs – in accordance with established budgets.
